The schedule for the NBA 2022/23 season is set to be announced next week and reportedly LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers are likely to face Luka Doncic's Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day in the first draft of the 2022-23 NBA schedule.

The Lakers missed the playoffs during the 2021-22 NBA season, while the Luka Doncic made his first Western Conference Finals appearance with the Mavericks against the title winners Golden State Warriors.

According to longtime NBA reporter Marc Stein, in the first draft of the 2022-23 NBA schedule, the Los Angeles Lakers are set to face the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day. However, the reporter also believed that things can still change before the schedule is officially released.

Both, LeBron and Doncic are versatile players and love to score and make assists for their teammates. A matchup consisting the two against each other will be an excellent contest to watch for the fans on the Christmas Day.

While the official schedule for the NBA 2022-23 season is yet to be announced, two regular-season games have already been scheduled internationally as the San Antonio Spurs will face the Miami Heat on December 17 in Mexico City and the Detroit Pistons taking on the Chicago Bulls on January 19 in Paris.
