International cricket stars from cricketing nations like West Indies, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Nepal and others are all set to take part in the LA Open T20 tournament. It is to be noted that the competition is sanctioned by the USA Cricket and will be played during their independence day weekend at the Woodley Park Cricket Fields at Los Angeles, California. The teams will be playing for the ultimate prize money of US$75,000.
As many as 20 teams have agreed to take part in the tournament and they have been split into four groups of five teams each. Many of the players who will take part in this T20 exhibition were also part of the recently conducted Houston T20 tournament, which was clinched by the Nepali Rhinos Club, who will have two teams in this particular event.
