Bangladesh cricket team is in red-hot form in the shortest format of the game. They have outdone the opposition with their phenomenal bowling performances in the recent past. After running over Australia’s batting line-up multiple times in the five-match series, they have now done the exact same to New Zealand in the first T20I. Earlier, they had bowled out Australia for 62 runs and now they have restricted New Zealand to only 60 runs.
New Zealand’s captain for the Bangladesh tour Tom Latham chose to bat first after winning the toss but his batters did not justify his decision at all. The Kiwi batters were undone by some good spin bowling from the hosts as they could not even play their full quota of 20 overs. Bangladesh bowled out New Zealand for only 60 runs and dismissed them for their joint-lowest ever total in Men’s T20Is.
This unwanted feat from New Zealand attracted a lot of Twitter trolls who did not spare a minute to bombard the social media platform with their hilarious tweets. A user remembered Sanjay Dutt’s dialogue from Munnabhai MBBS, “Ye Sala Top Krne ki Aadat ho gayeli hai apun ko”, to describe Bangladesh’s consistent dominance at their home ground.
