F1 star Lando Norris has finally interacted with his fans for the first time since the shocking incident of him getting robbed after EURO 2020 final. The British-Belgian driver had notably got his £40,000 watch stolen by a few people outside Wembley Stadium which had left him in shock. McLaren had confirmed the news through an official statement where they had revealed that although Lando did not suffer any injury, he was shaken by the incident.

Really means a lot: Norris on receiving fans' messages

The Formula One fraternity and fans across the globe have been sending Lando Norris good wishes after the Wembley incident. Reflecting on the same, the 21-year-old posted a heartwarming message on Instagram story thanking everyone for all their love and support in last few days.

"Hi world, thanks for all the messages, everyone. Really means a lot to see so many messages of kindness and love from you all. Thought I’d let you know that I’m doing well and trying to make sure I’m ready and in the right zone for this weekend to perform at my best, Love you all and can’t wait to see so many of you back at the track this weekend,” Lando stated.

Can Norris continue his heroics in F1 2021?

The 10th round of Formula One 2021 season will take place at the famous Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom. Apart from Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, it is also going to be a home race for McLaren's British-Belgian driver Lando Norris. The 21-year-old has been in scintillating form this year, currently placed at 4th position in F1 drivers' standings with 101 points.

Apart from his three impressive podium finishes, Norris also holds the record of being the only driver in the grid to have secured points in all the 9 races of the season so far. This is another reason why fans would be hoping Lando to recover from the Wembley Stadium and be at his usual best in front of his home fans.
