Despite suffering a blowout loss against Phoenix Suns, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers still have a historic moment to cherish and celebrate. The 37-year-old James became the first player in NBA history to have 31,000 points alongside 10,000 rebounds and 10,000 assists. King James reached the milestone as he dished out a pinpoint pass to Carmelo Anthony who drained a three in the second quarter.

In the post-match interview, LeBron James got emotional. "I get a loss of words anytime things like this happen to me," James said. "I automatically start thinking about my hometown of Akron and my upbringing where I come from,” he added.

"The dreams I had of being in this league at the highest level and to now sit alone in a statistical category in this league. I model my game after being able to score, rebound and assist. And to sit alone in a stat, I'll say cool, but it doesn't quite make sense to me," James further added.

Phoenix Suns coach Monty Williams also expressed his admiration towards LeBron James in a pre-game interview. Williams talked about how James has managed to dominate even at the age of 37. "Scoring 25 points in an NBA game is hard. Ask anybody who hasn't done it", Williams said.
