Yuzvendra Chahal’s spun Rajasthan Royals to a 3-run win over Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. The leg-spinner scalped 4 wickets for 41 runs in his 4 overs after the inaugural IPL champions posted 165/6 in their 20 overs, thanks to Shimron Hetmyer’s half-century. In the run chase, Lucknow never got going with Trent Boult striking twice in the first over. Marcus Stoinis’ 38* off 17 balls brought Lucknow close in the end but IPL debutant Kuldeep Sen held his nerves to hand RR a deserved win.
