The Indian Premier League (IPL) is just around the corner. With India's last international series before the start of the T20 competition coming to an early end on Monday, the excitement among the fans for the start of the IPL has increased manifolds. While some of the Indian players and a few overseas stars had already joined the team, the members of the Indian team who were busy with the Test matches will also be joining their respective franchises.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have officially started their season with captain Faf du Plessis entering into a three-day quarantine. Before checking into his hotel room in Mumbai, where he will remain for the next three days in self-isolation, Du Plessis hoped that he is the first in and will be last to leave the hotel when the tournament comes to an end in May.

The South African said that a three-day quarantine will help and he is looking forward to seeing everyone's faces at the first practice session with his new teammates. The video of Du Plessis was shared by RCB on their social media.

"RCB Captain Faf du Plessis starts quarantine In Mumbai "First to start quarantine, hopefully last to leave after the end of #IPL2022,: says @fafdup after joining the RCB bio bubble in Mumbai. #PlayBold #WeAreChallengers #IPL2022 #Mission2022," the video was captioned.
