Chennai Super Kings enjoy a massive fan following no matter where they play. Even in the UAE, the CSK team is receiving lots of love from its fans. We have seen many such instances when opposition teams’ fans cheer for boundaries scored by CSK batters or on wickets taken by their bowlers. MS Dhoni, in particular, gets support from each and every person watching the game irrespective of the team they are supporting. RCB, on the other hand, also boasts of most loyal fans.

One such instance took place during the 35th match of the IPL 2021 when CSK and RCB were up against each other at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. A fan was spotted in the crowd holding a poster and wearing RCB’s jersey and as it seemed he was supporting Virat Kohli’s team. However, when the camera focused on the words of the banner, it strangely read, “My wife did not allow me to wear CSK jersey..!!!”, which clearly indicated that he was forced to wear RCB’s jersey and he was a CSK supporter.

The CSK Twitter page was quick to react to this as they posted the picture of the man holding the banner and captioned it as “Love is colour blind”.

Have a look at CSK’s response here:

CSK sit holds second spot in the points table

Talking about CSK’s game against RCB, they defeated the Virat Kohli-led team quite comfortably and earned two important points. With seven wins from nine games, they are placed at the second spot with 14 points and with an impressive NRR of +1.185. The Men in Yellow will now lock horns with the in-form Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, 26 September, in the first game of the second doubleheader of the second leg. Chennai will look to seal the top spot by edging Delhi Capitals and secure themselves a playoff berth.
