Amidst growing rumours over Sadio Mane's future with Liverpool, several names have started popping up from different quarters as a possible replacement of the striker. As a previous reporter by ECHO, the 30-year-old is keen to associate with Bayern Munich.

However, Mane has not communicated anything so far to the Reds bosses yet, but reports have suggested his strong inclination towards Bayern Munich. Sadio Mane's departure won't be easy for the Reds as the striker has reinvented himself during the second half of the season, netting 14 goals for Liverpool in 2022, followed by lifting the League Cup, FA, Africa Cup of Nations and qualification for the World Cup.

Mane has been a success story; he has performed in all three attacking positions for the Reds. His move will surely come as a shock for the bosses and the Liverpool fans. Mane's departure has come as a possible opportunity for players like Martin Terrier and Ousmane Dembele, but Darwin Nunez is reportedly the strongest candidate to make the cut into the Devils' camp.

With six goals in 10 Champions League matches this season, the 22-year-old Uruguayan led the goalscoring chart in the Portuguese Primeira Liga with 26 goals from 38 appearances and scored 34 goals in all competitions.

While we haven't heard anything from the Liverpool camp about their interest in Nunez, Luis Suarez informed in an interview with Gerard Romero on Twitch by recalling that he recommended Darwin to Barcelona when he was at Almeria.

"I have 15 years of international experience. I know a thing or two about forwards," he said. He further informed that he told Barca bosses to pay attention to the youngster.

However, Barca ignored Suarez's advice stating that the Uruguayan was too young, and eventually, Benfica signed him for £20m.
