91:Luke Jongwe celebrating Pakistan skipper Babar Azam'

Zimbabwe beat Pakistan for the first time in a T20 international on Friday as Luke Jongwe starred with a four-wicket haul at Harare Sports Club. Zimbabwe, which is ranked 12th in the ICC T20 Rankings successfully defended a modest total of 118 to pull off an upset 19-run win. As a result, they leveled the 3-match series 1-1.

On a slow surface, right-arm medium pacer Jongwe (4-18) wreaked havoc as Zimbabwe bowled out Pakistan for 99 in 19.5 overs. Notably, Jongwe made his comeback to the Zimbabwe team in this series after a five-year absence due to eye and head injuries. He took the crucial wickets of openers to derail Pakistan's chase.

Jongwe's extra-ordinary performance in the field has now brought a 4-year-old tweet from him back to the fore. In which, the all-rounder had expressed his desire to play in the biggest T20 tournament of the world- IPL. He had written, "One day I will play IPL," back in 2017. Although Jongwe's dream of playing in the IPL may never be fulfilled due to the high level of competition among the players. Jongwe can still hold his head high for his superlative performance against India's arch-rivals.
