Cristiano Ronaldo has been in the spotlight following his Coca Cola incident at a recent press conference which has created a buzz over social media. During the Euro 2020 press conference, the legendary footballer removed two Coca Cola bottles from the table and took up water to highlight that he doesn’t consume carbonated drinks in his healthy lifestyle. This incident impacted the beverage company to a huge extent, as it costed Coca-Cola billions as their stocks went down rapidly. Following this episode, netizens started comparing other cricketers and celebrities who promote the beverage.

On one hand, netizens hailed the Portugal legend for his healthy lifestyle, while they also called out other sports persons for promoting such brands for money. One such Twitter user took a jibe at former Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakara who promote the brand.

While Sangakara didn’t react to the post, Mahela Jayawardene was quick to cheekily respond to the post.
