The inaugural edition of the Pacific Premier League is producing some interesting contests. Only into its third day, the tournament saw a low-scoring thriller being played between Team Trully India and Team Traverse. Day 3 started with a clash between Team Mahendra Club and Team USA Global. The second match of the day was played between Team Pacific Organic and Team Central Public School. Day 3 ended with Team Trully India and Team Traverse taking on each other.

In the first match, Team USA Global won the toss and opted to bat. On the back of a fine knock from Shiva Chauhan (48 runs off 43 balls, 7x4s) and a quickfire 31 off 13 balls from Anshuman Singh Hada, Team USA Global posted 143/7 in their 20 overs. From the Team Mahendra Club bowling department, Aryan Chandra (1/17), Sachin Yadav (1/24), and Ketan Sharma (1/36) chipped in.

In the chase of 144, Mahendra Club found their star in Tanmay Tiwari who played a fiery knock of 30 off 18 balls. Himanshu Patidar also played a handy knock of 36 off 42 balls to help his team chase down the total in 19.2 overs. Mohammad Zeeshan (2/19), Anshuman Singh Hada (2/24) and Yuvraj Singh (1.13) did make the chase a bit tough for Team Mahendra.

Team Pacific Organic notch up second win!

In the second game of the day, Team Pacific Organic put on a brilliant performance as they first bowled out Team Central Public School for a paltry total of 128 and then chased it down comfortably. Pradhyumn Parkh (2/17), Hitesh Pakhrot (2/25), and Sawai Choudhary (2/26) did the job for Team Pacific with the ball. With bat, it was Mohammad Anas Rafiullah Khan's 59 off 51 balls that helped Team Pacific chase the target comfortably.

For Team CPS, Divyapratap Rajpurohit (2/19) and Yashwant Dangi (2/23) contributed with the ball as well after playing handy knocks of 30 (22) and 24 (23) respectively.

Team Trully India dominate Team Traverse

In the final clash of Day 3, Team Trully India completely dominated as they completely outplayed Team Traverse. After bowling them out for a mere 77, Team Trully India chased down the total with 39 balls to spare. Starting the dominance with the ball, Manish Kumar Sharma notched up three wickets at the expense of just 13 runs from their four overs. It was then Minaf Sheikh and Chandrapal Singh Chundawat with the bat. While Sheikh scored 35 off 36 balls, Chandrapal Singh scored a run-a-ball 28.
