The 34th match in the Indian Premier League delivered everything a cricket match can be asked for. A batter hitting a ton, some lethal bowling, terrific run chase, and last over drama which almost snatched away victory from the hands of the Capitals. While chasing mammoth 223 runs target, Delhi always remained in the game as their batters kept playing blistering knocks to keep the required run-rate accessible.

Delhi needed 36 runs from the last over, and Royals' Obed McCoy had the ball in hand, while Rovman Powell had the responsibility to do unprecedented batting. Powell slammed the first three balls for sixes. The third ball was a full toss, and the DC camp led by Pant wanted the umpire to check it for a no-ball. The match was halted as the Delhi Capitals camp forced the on-field umpires to check the no-ball through the third-umpire. Rajasthan Royals opener Jos Buttler went to talk with Pant about the incident but left the conversation with some disappointment on his face.

While Pant even sent assistant coach Pravin Amre into the middle to talk to the umpires, they didn't change their decision. Pant's immature action had some reactions from cricket fans as social media was soon flooded with several meme targeting the Delhi skipper for his not-so sporting attitude.
