Manchester United, who are unbeaten in the pre-season friendly games under new manager Erik ten Hag, have reportedly agreed to allow star forward Cristiano Ronaldo to leave the club this summer on loan but with one condition.

The 37-year-old Portugal international has earlier expressed his views on leaving the club in the summer after the Red Devils failed to make it into the top four Premier League sides last season and lost the qualification chance for the Champions League.

Manchester United have been adamant about not allowing Cristiano Ronaldo, who was United's top scorer last season, to leave the club this summer. Now, the English club have sought one condition before the legendary player if he is looking for a move out of Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have asked Ronaldo to extend his contract by one season and then the club will sanction a loan deal for this year, according to The Mirror. Cristiano has one year left in his contract with Manchester United.

Ronaldo, who wants to move to a club playing Champions League football, is also reportedly willing to take a 30 per cent pay cut on his wages. The Portuguese has been given a break from the pre-season tours by Manchester United following the sad demise of one of his twins.

Man United coach Erik ten Hag has earlier cleared his stance on Ronaldo as the Dutch manager is looking forward to working with him.
