Manoj Tiwary joins “Pawri ho rhi hai” trend, trolls England after loss in second Test

India conquered a significant 317-run victory against England at Chepauk Stadium, Chennai on Tuesday. The crucial win for hosts has boosted their chances of getting into World Test Championship Finals, slated to happen later this year. Celebrating the win, fans and enthusiasts on internet expressed their happiness in different forms.

The fun further doubled when former Indian cricketer Manoj Tiwary also joined the band for celebrations. Stalwart took out a page from ongoing trend of memes to troll visitors, who had earlier boasted about victory. And within few minutes of sharing, Tiwary’s video got viral.

Tiwary’s trolling video was based on latest meme trend of “Pawri ho rhi hai”. Captioned – “England ki kutaai hogayi hai” video starts with batsman pointing towards post-game footage. Making up face expressions and modifying his accent to a bragging and over smart one as from the meme, he says – “Ye main hu, ye meri TV he, aur yha England ki kutaai ho gai he”. Within 24 hours of uploading, video successfully managed to hit the 100K mark.
