Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has been named the club’s Player of the Year for the 2020-21 season. The Blues had a phenomenal season across all tournaments in 2020-21. With 2 games remaining in the Premier League, Chelsea will look forward to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League points table, ahead of facing title winners Manchester City in the Champions League final. The 22-year-old is the youngest player since John Terry in 2001 (21 years) to win the Player of the Year award for Chelsea. Additionally, Mount has become the first Chelsea Academy graduate to win the award since John Terry last won it in 2006.
