Team India arrived in England on Thursday. After taking a midnight flight from Mumbai, both the men's and women's teams landed in London at around 7 am local time. The teams were then taken to Southampton by the road, where they will undergo a mandatory quarantine of three days in the hotel at the Rose Bowl Stadium which makes for a splendid venue, especially for cricket lovers. While a video of the team's arrival had earlier gone viral, even KL Rahul shared a picture on arriving in the United Kingdom.

And now his childhood friend and India teammate Mayank Agarwal has shared a breathtaking view of the venue from his hotel. "Touchdown Southampton," he simply wrote along with the picture.

While the men's team are set to take on New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship final commencing on June 18 at this very venue followed by 5-Test matches against the host nation starting in August, the women's team will play a one-off Test against England as well as a T20I and an ODI series. The women's team will move to Bristol later which is the venue for their four-day Test against England, starting on June 16.

Meanwhile, a separate white-ball team is set to travel to Sri Lanka for a limited-overs tour in July. Head of National Cricket Academy, Rahul Dravid, is likely to accompany the white ball specialist team as the head coach.
