The financial earnings of sportsmen are enormous and global media keeps a close watch and keeps monitoring individual's annual earning. Although, Covid has hampered every sports in the world and revenue generated by the sports has also affected the pocket of sports-persons. Even though, the staggering amount earned per minute by sports-persons in 2021 is enough to blow your mind.

According to a survey conducted by Online Betting Guide, a sports betting community, UFC star Conor McGregor earned a staggering $1 million every SEVEN SECONDS that he took part in his sport last year. The next fact will add fuel to your jealous mind, McGregor was only involved in three minutes of sport in 2021, earning $22 million overall and if calculated, $8,695,652 per minute. The second in list is Mexican boxing superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez as it takes him two minutes and 15 seconds to earn a $1 million. For his 72 minutes in action, he earned $32 million which equals $444,444 per-minute for his fights against Avni Yildirim, Billy Joe Saunders and Caleb Plant.

The list is studded with American athletes. At third, Dallas Cowboys' Dak Prescott, who takes three minutes and five seconds to earn $1 million. The next two on the list are NFL offensive linemen Ronnie Stanley and David Bakhtiari, followed by Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa, San Francisco 49ers' defensive tackle Trent Williams and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.

The top 10 list concludes with Los Angeles Rams corner-back Jalen Ramsey and Baltimore Ravens corner-back Marlon Humphrey. The Greatest Of All Time, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, appears in 14th place. In 17th position is PSG forward and Brazilian superstar Neymar and it takes him 30 minutes and 34 seconds to earn $1 million. Meanwhile, 7-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi is in 23rd place, taking him 43 minutes and 13 seconds to get to $1 million.

And his big rival Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo is 25th in the list, who earns $1 million in just over 53 minutes.

What about Indian cricketers?

The likes of Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni are no less than an established brand and even they make good amount by being in sports per every minute. However, the amount won't sound so big as compared to the above list but considering the time a cricket match takes to conclude, the amount is huge. According to recent Forbes' findings, Kohli’s one minute earnings are Rs 5811.21, followed by Dhoni (Rs. 3638.30/minute).
