The two parties are still negotiating a new deal for the star footballer and since no confirmation has yet been received, it has become a moment of great intrigue and curiosity for the sports loving fans on the internet.
While the Argentine had wanted to leave the club even in 2020, his contract has finally come to an end this year which means he can move to any club which is willing to offer a contract worth his reputation. Amid all the drama, a social media user asked the Indian Premier League franchise Rajasthan Royals if they were willing to buy the star footballer, given that he is no longer contracted.
RR, who are known for their social media game, did not disappoint their fans with yet another superb reply. They wrote that they are still trying to get Messi on board, sharing a picture of their conversation with him on social media which read, “Khamma Ghani, Messi sa. Padharo mhare des?”
