Chennai Super Kings are all set to begin their IPL 2021 campaign with a clash against the Delhi Capitals. While it was a disappointing season in 2020 for them, the side would look to make a fresh start this year. Fans are getting more and more desperate to find out what is going on in 'Thala' MS Dhoni's mind before the start of this new season. MSD had promised a stronger comeback last season, but how will he keep his promise? What will be his tactics this year? In a happy news for the fans, there are reports emerging from the IPL circuit that may satisfy some of these curiosities.

Sources close to the CSK camp have revealed the possible batting order for the Chennai Super Kings for their opening game against the Delhi Capitals. While Moeen Ali is likely to come out to open the batting along with Robin Uthappa in the first match. If Moeen Ali is dismissed, Suresh Raina is slotted to take number 3, as per the sources. However, if Uthappa walks out early veteran Faf du Plessis will come down to bat at no. 3. Meanwhile, Ambati Rayudu and MS Dhoni wil walk out to bat after them, respectively.

DC set to begin campaign without Shreyas Iyer & South Africa stars

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals will begin their campaign not only without their regular captain Shreyas Iyer, who has been ruled out of entire IPL 2021, but also without their South African stars Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje who are serving their mandatory quarantine. In their absence, it would be interesting to see the team combination the Capitals decide to go ahead with in this fixture. In addition, Rishabh Pant is all set to make his captaincy debut in the T20 competition.
