It has all come down to the final face-off between the Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. The winner of this game will be crowned the IPL 2022 champions while the loser will have to settle with the runners-up tag.

During the match though, former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif, who was a member of the 2008 IPL-winning Rajasthan Royals team, shared a picture with 7 of his teammates from that team. He jokingly called out Sanju Samson telling the current Rajasthan captain to just shout out, in case he needs any help.

Known as one of the finest fielders from India during his playing days, Kaif said that he could still field at point and promised he would never let the ball go past him.

"Sanju if needed just shout out, 8 champion Royals are in the house. I can still field at point. Trust me ball nahi nikalne dunga. Let's do it for Warnie boys. #iplfinals ⁦@rajasthanroyals." he tweeted.

Other than Kaif, Munaf Patel, Siddharth Trivedi, Yusuf Pathan, Swapnil Asnodkar, Parag More, Dinesh Salunkhe and Anup Revandkar posed for the photo.

As far as the match situation is concerned, Rajasthan opted to bat against Gujarat in the high-pressure game but find themselves in a spot of bother after being reduced to 79/4 in 12.1 overs. The inaugural champions would be hoping for a strong finish to exert some pressure on Gujarat Titans .
