Former India captain MS Dhoni is not very active on social media despite a fan following of 39.1 million on Instagram. It is being said that the legend logged into his Instagram account after almost two years to change the profile picture to tricolour as a tribute to India's 75th year of Independence.

The government of India is marking this special day by celebrating 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ with PM Narendra Modi asking citizens to change their DP to the tricolour. Indians have taken this appeal to the heart and are changing their DPs to 'tiranga'.

Dhoni too changed it to the Indian tricolour to show respect to the motherland. MSD’s display picture also has a quote that reads, 'I am blessed to be a Bhartiya.' Fans on social media loved this gesture by Captain Cool and showered love and praise towards him.
