Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Chennai Super Kings are names synonymous to each other. While the former India captain has led them in all the editions that they have participated in, MSD is now at the twilight of his career and has already retired from international cricket. This has led to speculations over his future with the franchise. And now former Australian spinner Brad Hogg has given his opinion on the same. Answering a fan question on social media, Hogg stated that Dhoni is not going to leave the team he has led to three championships in the history of the tournament.

He added that Dhoni would perhaps take a transition into a coaching role after he is done leading the Yellow Brigade in the T20 tournament. His reply came in response to a fan on Twitter who asked, "imagine (thinking face) If CSK doesn't retain MS Dhoni to ipl Mega auction 2022, Which is the IPL franchise that needs MS Dhoni and his experience the most ???

Devon Conway, Marnus Labuschagne will be good acquisitions for Rajasthan Royals

Hogg also said that in case the likes of Jos Butter and Ben Stokes are not available for the second leg of the IPL 2021 in United Arab Emirates, Devon Conway, Marnus Labuschagne can be good acquisitions for the franchise. However, he was quick to point out that Conway would be the first choice among the two.
