Although there is still some time before the Indian Premier League 2021 resumption, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not keeping himself away from sporting action. Prior to the cricketing festival, Dhoni is gearing up for a charity football event which also features some of the leading stars from Bollywood including Ranveer Singh. The actor, who has gone on record multiple times admitting that he is a Dhoni fan, could be seen hugging the cricketer from Ranchi and enjoying a light moment.

Even last year, when MSD had announced his retirement from international cricket, Ranveer had shared a few throwback pictures with the star cricketer and attached a long heartfelt note on social media. He had also recalled the first time he met his icon and felt amazed.

And now the two were seen enjoying the same chemistry while practising for this charity football match. Moreover, even Shreyas Iyer, who is recovering from a shoulder injury, was spotted in this event in the pictures that have gone viral. Later, Ranveer also took to social media to share the pictures with Mahi.
