Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni is once again winning hearts on the internet. The MS Dhoni-led franchise was under the limelight once again after having a good start into the tournament. Although they lost their opening match against Delhi Capitals, they went on to win five back-to-back matches, before losing the last one in a last ball thriller to Mumbai Indians. As the season was suspended mid-way, Chennai Super Kings stand second in the points table with 10 points from 7 games.

MS Dhoni refuses to return until teammates head back home

With the latest updates coming from the CSK camp, their skipper MS Dhoni has refused to head back home until all of his team members return to their respective home. In a virtual meeting with his teammates, ‘Captain Cool’ said that the foreign players and support staff should get the preference to leave first, followed by home-bound players.

“Mahibhai said that he will be the last person to leave the hotel. He wanted foreigners to leave first, then the Indian players. He will be taking the last flight tomorrow when everyone reaches their home safe and secure,” a member of CSK told The Indian Express.

However, the CSK suffered a big blow when two members from their contingent tested positive for COVID-19, one of them being their bowling coach Lakshmipathy Balaji.

Later on it was Mike Hussey who was confirmed positive after the tournament got officially suspended on Tuesday.
