CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja set the cricketing world on storm after his heroic display on Sunday. The 32-year-old came up with what is called in cricket a proper all-round performance as he did not just contribute in all departments but literally destroyed Royal Challengers Bangalore with his brilliance while batting, bowling and fielding.

Jadeja single-handedly defeats RCB in Mumbai

The all-rounder wreaked havoc at Wankhede stadium as he took the Purple Cap-holder Harshal Patel to the cleaners in the last over of CSK innings. Jadeja smashed 37 runs in the 20th over, included five sixes to take CSK to a mammoth total.

The 32-year-old went on to play a match-winning knock of 62 runs off only 28 deliveries. However, it was not the end of the game for the star all-rounder. Jadeja came into the second innings and bowled a brilliant spell of 3/13 in 4 overs, taking the crucial wickets of Washington Sundar, Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers. To add on to his heroic efforts, he also ran Dan Christian out with a bullet throw. After the match, CSK skipper MS Dhoni had a lot of praiseworthy words for the star of the match.

"Ravindra Jadeja is somebody who can change the game on his own. In the last few years we've seen significant change in batting and it's worth it to give him that extra bit of time, extra deliveries," said Dhoni praising the southpaw.

However, this is not the first time that Dhoni has lauded the all-rounder. Even before 8 years from now, Dhoni used to hail Jaddu that too publicly on social media platforms. One of those praises has now gone viral on social media.

MSD's 8-year-old tweet on Ravindra Jadeja

While captain cool appreciated Jadeja on Sunday, an old tweet is now going rounds on social media which proves that MSD had realized the potential of CSK all-rounder as early as eight years back. During the days when 'Rajnikanth' memes were very popular, the 39-year-old had compared Jadeja to Rajnikanth, signifying the fact that they are the only two people on earth who can do anything and everything.

This tweet certainly makes a lot of sense today as Jadeja literally pulled off a 'Rajnikanth' style performance in Mumbai. The all-rounder's performance against RCB is being hailed as one of the best ever individual display seen on the field of cricket.
