The Indian Premier League is undoubtedly one of the greatest T20 festivals in the world. The best international stars along with some of the most exciting domestic Indian talents go shoulder to shoulder in this cash-rich tournament. So intense is this competition that any team can beat any other in this league while any player can turn out to be a match-winner on his day.

Moreover, there have been several instances when a player has turned it around in the same game - the most famous example being that of Rahul Tewatia who was struggling at one stage while playing for Rajasthan Royals against Punjab Kings but smashed five sixes in an over to become an unlikely hero for his team.

Amidst this, a MS Dhoni fan page on Facebook thought that Faf du Plessis was having a poor outing in the ongoing IPL 2022 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings. Notably, the former Chennai Super Kings star who is leading RCB this season was batting on 21 from 33 balls at one stage during his innings and the page thought it best to take a dig at Faf.

He had reportedly posted, "MSD left this garbage for RCB.. Great masterstroke." However, Du Plessis later turned it around to finish his innings at 88 from 57 balls. It was here that the Dhoni fan page titled "MS Dhoni - God of Gods" realised that it had made a wrong call and took a U-turn in his stance, this time taking a dig at RCB by saying that "Being an ex-cskian and close friend of Dhoni..only he can turn around fortune of this nakara team."

Moments after this, the screenshot of the page's contrasting posts has gone viral.

While Bangalore eventually finished with 205/2, it wasn't enough as the Punjab side chased it down with 1 over to spare.
