The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the name and owners of four teams for Nepal's inaugural T20 league starting from December 24, 2022 to January 11, 2023. A total of six franchises will take part in Nepal's official and CAN recognized T20 League at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Stadium.
The six teams to play in the Nepal T20 League are Pokhara Avengers, Biratnagar Super Kings, Janakpur Royals, Lumbini All Stars, Kathmandu Knights, Far West United.
CAN has enlisted Indian sports management company Seven3sports as commercial and strategic partner for eight years. "We are delighted and excited to welcome the four teams for Nepal T20 League season one. We are extremely grateful to Kantipur Media Group to come on board as a team owner. Their support means a lot to us," said Jatin Ahluwalia, CEO of Seven3sports.
