It’s time for some colorful action! After a high-octane Test series, India and England will face-off in the five-match T20I series beginning from Friday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Men in Blue would be high on confidence after winning the recently-concluded Test series by 3-1 and qualifying for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final. On the other hand, England will have a fresh squad for the limited-over series and they will aim to start their preparations for the T20I World Cup, which is scheduled to be played in India later this year, with a win.

Both teams have opted for a young squad, keeping in mind the World Cup and with 5 matches to be played, we can see bit of experiment from both sides. It will be interesting to see how many of them are successful in making a cut to the final playing XI.

India is likely to open with Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, which means Shikhar Dhawan might have to wait for his turn. Rishabh Pant, who is having a dream run since the Australia tour, will be back in the squad and will keep the wickets for the Men in Blue. Hardik Pandya too will find his place in the Playing XI.

Meanwhile, England will get a full-strength squad for the T20I series. Eoin Morgan will captain the side with the likes of Jos Buttler, Sam Curran and Dawid Malan in the Playing XI. Chris Jordan will lead the pace attack, with Ben Stokes coming as an all-rounder and Adil Rashid as the specialist spinner. Sam Billings might get a nod ahead of Jonny Bairstow.
