Lucknow Super Giants franchise has been fantastic in the last two IPL seasons by qualifying for the playoffs but unfortunately, they failed to reach the final stage of the game in both editions.
LSG have retained their strong batting line-up from last season and apart from that they have traded a middle-order batsman like Padikkal from RR also but they lack good bowling options, hence they could target some good bowlers in the 2024 IPL auction.
1. Wanindu Hasaranga:
Wanindu Hasaranga has been a game-changer with the ball in T20s and one-day cricket. He was phenomenal for RCB in IPL 2022 and before getting injured this year, he played a crucial role in helping Sri Lanka to play the 2023 World Cup with his stellar performance in the 2023 WC qualifiers tournament. Hasaranga's addition to the LSG squad will be an asset for their side as his combo with Ravi Bishnoi could be a real threat to the opposition team.
