2. Ross Taylor

One of the all-time greats of New Zealand and world cricket, Ross Taylor was renowned for his six hitting ability in the middle order, especially in the IPL. He set the stage alight for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in his first two seasons during 2008 and 2009. Taylor scored at an astonishing strike-rate of 183.95 during 4 matches in the first season and backed it up with 134.61 strike-rate in 11 matches in the second season. In 2010, Rosco didn’t play much for RCB and he eventually got released by the franchise for the subsequent season. During his brief stay with Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Daredevils, and Pune Warriors India in next four seasons between 2011-2014, Taylor struggled to make a telling impact with the bat and never took part in IPL ever again.
