The success of the Mumbai Indians franchise came in a fraction of the moment with the side winning five titles in just seven years. However, that golden time has possibly concluded for the team with the 2020 champions ending their last four seasons in the group stage. The most recent being in 2024, pouring down to the bottom of the table.

The season started with a shocking decision to appoint Hardik over Rohit as their skipper followed by a few internal turmoils within the side. The overall chaos led to horrible returns this season for the Mukesh Ambani-owned side. However, with the mega auction looming over from the next season, it is to be seen, which specified four players MI will go within the next edition.

1.  Jasprit Bumrah

The best all-format pacer Jasprit Bumrah, is a reckoning force for any side in which he plays. The 30-year-old pacer joined forces with Mumbai back in 2013, when he dismissed Virat Kohli in his maiden game for the side. Years passed by and he’s only got better with time. Bumrah has scalped 165 wickets in 133 games in the cash-rich league and is subject to an economy rate of as low as 7.30. This season too, Bumrah came out with an impressive economy of 6.48, where every other baller has gone above 10.
