Dubbed the ‘King of Kingston’, West Indies opener Brandon King has been one of the best T20 batters in the world over the past two years. Across 2023 and 2024, the 29-year-old has close to 600 runs in 20 games at a strike rate of around 145. With this being a home World Cup for the Windies, Brandon King could have a big tournament and allow the Calypso Kings to make a deep run.

Jos Buttler
The England captain Jos Buttler is primed to have an incredible T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies. Buttler has been in the best of forms over the last year but showed glimpses of his manic skill and ability in the recent IPL. The English captain smashed two centuries while chasing and scored a quick-fire 84 against Pakistan in the 2nd T20I. On the back of these recent knocks, the Lancashire star could replicate his performances from the previous World Cup and help the Three Lions defend their title.

Travis Head
The next batter on the list is the Australian top-order batter Travis Head could very much continue his blistering form in the upcoming World Cup. Since June 2023, Head has emerged as one of the most prolific batters on the international stage. The Southpaw also showcased this stunning ability in the IPL 2024 as well where he finished fourth in the Orange Cap race with 567 runs at a strike rate of 191.55 while hitting fours 50s and a ton.

Virat Kohli
Indian batting extraordinaire Virat Kohli, the highest run-scorer in T20 World Cup history, could again dominate in the 2024 edition. Kohli was heavily criticised for his strike rate and lack of six-hitting ability ahead of the World Cup but the King made bat do the talking by winning the Orange Cap in the recent IPL. Kohli scored 741 runs at a blistering strike rate of 154.7 while hitting an IPL career-high of 38, second-most for an Indian batter.
