Mitchell Starc, who is a former T20 World Cup winner for Australia in 2021, has been in great bowling form in the lead up to the upcoming edition of the tournament, picking up the player of the match award in the final of the IPL 2024, which KKR won comprehensively. The Australian improved his performances drastically in the latter half of the franchise T20 tournament, picking up early wickets in big matches, and undergoing the rigours of the shortest format of the game ahead of the all-important T20 World Cup 2024.
