5. Jonty Rhodes
Former South Africa batter Jonty Rhodes was known for his excellent fielding prowess. He served the Protea side for 11 years from 1992 to 2013 and during this period, he made a significant contribution to the team. Before starting his cricketing career, he also played hockey for South Africa and got selected to represent the team in the 1992 Olympics. However, unfortunately, the team didn’t qualify for the top competition.
4. Sir Vivian Richards
Sir Vivian Richards, who achieved unprecedented success for the West Indies in cricket, played for Antigua and Barbuda during the 1974 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. However, the same year, he got a chance to make his debut for the Windies side and grabbing the opportunity, he played magnificently and emerged as a huge figure in the sport.

Sir Ian Botham is one of the greatest players to represent England in cricket. As an all-rounder, he made extraordinary contributions to the English side with his all-round skills. Besides cricket, Botham also played football as a centre-half for Yeovil Town and Scunthorpe United from 1978 to 1985.

Andrew Flintoff played a vital role in England’s notable success against Australia in the Ashes 2005. Playing for the English team from 1998 to 2009 in Test cricket, he racked up 3445 runs and 226 wickets in 79 games. After retiring from international cricket in 2009, he also broke into boxing in 2012, beating Richard Dawson. However, he kept his boxing career brief as he retired soon following his debut.
