Phoebe Litchfield
Gujarat Giants acquired the services of another Australian batter Phoebe Litchfield for INR 1 crore at the auction. Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz engaged in a bidding war to get the signature of Litchfield but the formers came on top of the war. Litchfield recently became the joint-fastest batter alongside New Zealand skipper Sophie Devine to slam a half-century (18 balls) in T20Is, against West Indies Women. Not only this, but she was also the first player to be sold. Her base price was INR 30 lakh but she was sold for INR 1 crore.
