Indian captain Rohit Sharma is all set to lead the national team for the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2024. The 37-year-old is currently participating in the globally popular T20 tournament, Indian Premier League, where he is a part of the Mumbai Indians. While several fans welcomed the decision by the franchise, others heavily criticised it and hailed it as wrong. Sharma has been with the team for a long time and guided the side to their five IPL trophies. Rohit Sharma is a far more experienced player than Rohit Sharma, considering he led MI for over a decade. Apart from this, Sharma has been playing for India since 2007, while Hardik Pandya made his debut for India in 2016.
