Neymar, the Brazilian footballing superstar, was spotted in a video, playing poker online on his phone during a birthday celebration for his daughter, who had just turned six months old. Just as the recent clip of Neymar, who is currently out of action after suffering a serious knee injury on international duty last year, went viral on the social media platform X, a plethora of fan reactions swiftly came along.
Notably, Neymar, 32, is signed on a two-year contract with Al-Hilal currently, but he is out for the rest of the season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and meniscus injury in the left knee. The horrible moment happened during Brazil’s FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifying match against Uruguay in October of 2023, for which he underwent surgery shortly after.
On his extended break from football, Neymar has predominantly spent his time in his native land of Brazil, resting and recuperating from the ACL and meniscus injury. In the latest video, he was seen sitting alongside his former partner Bruna Biancardi, celebrating their daughter named Mavie, turning six months old, but his attention wasn’t fully there.
Neymar was also having a close glance at his phone to play a round of online poker, which is something he admittedly can’t get enough of.
