What could be a better storyline for sports than all coming down to the final race. The Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina has been reconfigured from three corners to enhance the racing time. The transformation means that the circuit is less than 10-15 seconds faster than the erstwhile layout. So extra two laps have also been included to accommodate the designated distance required.

The Yas Marina circuit historically sides with Lewis Hamilton, but Max Verstappen won the last year’s race in the same track.

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are tied on 369.5 points at the top of the drivers’ championship ahead of this weekend’s decider, while the constructors’ title is also yet to be claimed, with Mercedes holding a 28-point lead over Red Bull.

Yas Marina Circuit is one of the most technologically-advanced tracks in the world. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be held at iconic circuit.

The Yas Marina Circuit first appeared on the F1 calendar back in 2009. But ahead of the 2021 race, the circuit got a makeover with changes at three major points on the track.

A new Turn 5, a new Turn 9 and refinements to the ‘street circuit’ Sector 3 designed to make it more flowing have all added up to make a lap of the circuit over 10 times faster than it was last year, with the drivers exploring the changes as they headed out onto track for Free Practice 1 of what’s set to be a historic weekend.
