Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has announced the renewal of the contract with Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management, keeping the Formula 1 race on the calendar until 2030 ahead of the season-ending title decider at Yas Marina.

As per organisers, the renewed contract will keep the F1 race on track for the upcoming decade as the reconfiguration of Yas Marina Circuit ahead of this year's race, specifically in three areas: the north hairpin (Turn 7), the south marina (beginning at Turn 11), and the hotel section (beginning at Turn 17), will improve the quality of the race.

"We are delighted to confirm that we will be racing in Abu Dhabi until 2030 under this new agreement. We are hugely looking forward to the season finale this weekend when more Formula 1 history will be made", read the statement released by the F1 CEO & President Stefano Domenicali. Emphasising the changes made at Yas Marine Circuit, the president added that, the promoter as well as ADMM, always creates an incredible show for the final race of every FA1 season, and when in this time it will be combined with the changes at Yas Marina circuit, we are excited to have improved racing for drivers as well as spectators.

The CEO of Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management believes that the signing of a multi-layered deal with Formula 1 not only represents the strength of the relationship but also reaffirms commitment to deliver a world-class weekend racing experience for all visitors to enjoy. "The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and Yas Marina Circuit continue to introduce hundreds of millions of spectators and TV viewers to Abu Dhabi and the UAE," he added.

The race is one of four in the Middle East, with Qatar and Saudi Arabia making their debuts this year on long term contracts and Bahrain establishing fixtures. Mercedes' seven times world champion Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull's Max Verstappen are tied on points going into the final race of the season. The Yas Marine has unveiled several changes to the track ahead of Sunday's title decider designed to increase overtaking opportunities.
