
Koni De Winter is a Belgian international footballer who played for the Italian giants AC Milan as a defender. The 23-year-old defender was permanently signed by Genoa in the summer transfer window of 2024 for a reported transfer fee of €8 million after a successful loan spell with the Italian club in the previous season. The Belgian international became a key player in the Genoa team and made 25 appearances in the Serie A during the previous campaign and scored three goals for the team.
However, Koni De Winter is ready to start a new chapter in the Serie A as the Italian giants AC Milan have taken to their social media to announce the signing of the Belgian defender as the latest addition to their squad. The 23-year-old has joined the Serie A club on a five-year contract. The Belgian defender is ready to take over the San Siro after the club completed his transfer on a €30m deal from Girona. Other Premier League clubs and the arch-rivals of AC Milan, Inter Milan were also interested in buying him. However, it was AC Milan who managed to get over the line.
