The 18th AFC Asian Cup, the international men's football championship organised by the Asian Football Confederation, will be postponed from 2023 and take place in early 2024. With the addition of 24 national teams in 2019, Qatar will be the reigning champion.  The tournament was initially supposed to take place in China, but due to COVID-19 concerns, the AFC shifted the venue to Qatar. The AFC Asian Cup takes place once every four years. India will be part of this tournament for the second straight time.
