The highly-anticipated ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia is scheduled to take place from October 22 and the Afghanistan Cricket Board has finally announced their 15-member squad for the prestigious tournament. 

Afghanistan are scheduled to face England in their ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 opener on October 22 at the Perth stadium.

All-rounder Mohammad Nabi is named the captain of the Afghanistan squad while batter  Najibullah Zadran is picked for the role of the vice-captain.  Apart from 15-member squad, Afghanistan have named  Afsar Zazai, Sharafuddin Ashraf, Rahmat Shah, and Gulbadin Naib as the standby players for the tournament.
