5. Darwish Rasooli
The 22-year-old right-handed batter has only played four T20 internationals so far but has an impressive first-class record as he has amassed 1842 runs in 29 innings with a strike rate of 76.91. Rasooli has six hundred in the FC stage and seven half-centuries. Even in List A cricket, Rasooli has batted at an average of 44.52, scoring 1247-runs in 32 innings. The youngster is expected to get a chance in the middle order, and if he performs well against the best of the bowlers in the tournament, Afghanistan might get another match-winner in its camp.
