After making Giannis Antetokounmpo and Shaquille O’Neal dance to Bollywood tunes, Indian actor Ranveer Singh has found another on-court sensation to create an incredible moment where Bollywood and NBA come together.

On this occasion, Singh interacted with Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young and made him do the bhangra with his iconic ‘Ice Trae’ celebration during the NBA Abu Dhabi Games at Yas Island. Ranveer and Trae bust out the bhangra on the chartbuster ‘Gallan Goodiyaan’ from his film ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ creating another viral moment.

In the clip, the duo start-off with classic bhangra moves and then takes into Trae Young’s celebration. Ranveer Singh and Trae Young then share a hug and embrace each other. The video was uploaded by the Bollywood star with a caption saying, “Trae Paaji naal Bhangra !!! 🕺🏽🕺🏽❄️❄️🥶🥶Here’s Ice Trae celebrating his awesome performance with some Gallan Goodiyan! 🎶 🎶 🎶 @nba @nbaindia @nbastyle_in @nbaarabic @nbaeurope #NBAinAbuDhabi."

Reacting to this post, the NBA All-star commentated, “❄️❄️🕺🏽🕺🏽.” But the bromance between Ranveer Singh and Trae Young further continued on Instagram as the duo shared each other's pictures on their Instagram stories.

This connection between Ranveer Singh and multiple NBA superstars begs the question of when the league is hosting similar pre-season games in India. The NBA had teams like the Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings play matches in Mumbai before the 2019-20 season. Addressing the query, NBA commissioner Adam Silver assured that the league will make its return to India and also set up clinics and academies for the worth of the sport in the region.

“We have plans to come back to India, we have discussed returning there many times,” he said. “It was a great experience when we came to India back in 2019. We can be engaging with fans on all continents with 30 teams in pre-season. What we are focused on is developing the game there. Working with FIBA, more clinics, more academies, better distribution of our games to the increasing fanbase there”, he added.
