The first innings of the 1 st Test is over. After winning the toss, KL Rahul opted to bat first. After three quick dismissals in the Session 1 of Day 1, the lower and middle order played a crucial inning. On the back of Cheteshwar Pujara’s 90 off 203 balls and Iyer’s 86 off 192, R Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav played important knocks.
The Men in Blue started Day 2 with a score of 278/6 but got the first blow in Shreyas Iyer. However, R Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav steadied the innings for the visitors as they scored 58 and 40 respectively. But soon after Ashwin’s departure, Kuldeep Yadav too made his way back to the pavilion.
However, the impact was right in front by the leg-spinner went for a DRS. During the same time, Ajay Jadeja, who is commentating for the ongoing match and was present at that moment termed Yadav as “Rahees Aadmi”.

Mohammed Siraj drew the first blood as he dismissed Najmul Hossain Shanto on the very first ball of the innings. However, Umesh Yadav dismissed Yasir Ali in the fourth over of the second inning.
