The second game of the three-match T20I series between India and New Zealand has been delayed after New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first. However, the visitors are leading the series 1-0 after the first game was whitewashed on November 18.

Even the third match of the series remains in fix as slight drizzle interrupted play after both skippers stood for the toss. While the start of the game got further delayed in the 3 rd  T20I, the commentators took time to talk and interact with the players. While it was Ishan Kishan’s turn, the young batter heaped praise of Suryakumar Yadav.

“I still badly wanted to be at the non-striker’s end (when Surya is batting), he makes batting look so easy. All of us want to bat like him”, said Kishan.

Notably, the No. 1 ranked T20I batter scored unbeaten 111 off 51 in the second T20I, helping India cross the line and win the game by 65 runs. He is coming after a brilliant performance in the T20 World Cup 2022. The star batter scored 239 runs in the six innings with an average of 98.96. However, Virat Kohli scored the most runs in the tournament (296) in the same number of innings.
