After a superb batting performance in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022 in United Arab of Emirates, former India skipper Virat Kohli will be in action in a three-match T20I series against Australia, starting from September 20 (Tuesday). The Delhi batter has recently notched up his long-awaited 71st international century when he smashed his maiden ton in the T20 format during India vs Hong Kong match in Asia Cup.

The 33-year-old batter has already arrived in Mohali for the series opener and will participate in practice sessions before competing against the defending champions as the Men in Blue look to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the T20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Virat's wife Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has said that she is missing her husband as she posted an adorable Instagram post featuring a beautiful picture of the couple.

The Chakda 'Xpress actress also wrote a special caption for her husband as she mentioned that her world gets 'brighter and exciting' when the Indian cricketer is around her.

"The world seems brighter, exciting, more fun and overall, just much better in places as beautiful as these or even when cooped up in a hotel bio-bubble with this person ❤️ #MissingHubby too much post," she wrote as a caption.  Notably, Virat Kohli responded to Anushka's post with the love emoji.

Speaking of work affairs, Anushka is currently busy with the highly anticipated project which is a biopic of legendary Indian women pacer Jhulan Goswami titled Chakda 'Xpress. The actress will be returning to the big screen for the first time since 'Zero' in which she co-starred with Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in 2018. She had earlier admitted that she was blown away with the script for Chakda 'Xpress and it was an eye opener for her.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli will look to continue his form from the Asia Cup where he concluded the continental tournament as the top run-getter for Team India. The bilateral contest with Australia will commence on September 20 at IS Bindra Stadium, in Mohali, followed by second and third T20I on September 23rd and 25th.
