The Apex Legends Mobile's third season is all set to add another legend from the PC game to the roster. According to reports, Revenant is an offensive legend who silences enemies and cheats death using his ultimate Death Totem.
Along with Revenant, the mobile battle royale will likely have a new limited-time mode (LTM) titled Airdrop Escalation, a new battle pass, and a Store Vault Update. Reports have confirmed that the third season will bring back World's Edge into the map rotation in the Underworld update. Meanwhile, Apex Legends Mobile has also clinched the iPhone Game of the Year Award in the Apple App Store Awards.
The announcement was made via the official Twitter account for the App Store, as Apple congratulated the developers on the win. Previous winners of iPhone, iPad and Mac Game of the Year include Genshin Impact, League of Legends: Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, MARVEL Future Revolution, and Disco Elysium.
Respawn Entertainment replied to Apple, expressing gratitude for the award, stating it was 'an honour.' "This thoughtfully reengineered ground-breaking battle royale is its best version to date," Apple mentioned on its website.
Speaking of the Revenant, it can crouch-walk faster and climb higher than its foes. At the same time, his tactical abilities include the ability to throw a device that deals damage and disables enemy abilities for short periods.
Reports have hinted that dropping a totem to protect those who use it from death for a set amount of time will be his ultimate ability. Instead of being killed or downed, users will be teleported back to the totem and restore a certain amount of health when they receive critical damage. Apex Legends Mobile Season 3.5 Underworld is currently live on servers. Ranks reset in effect, with the next split starting today.
