With the rise of the limited-overs cricket in the world, the shot-making of the batsmen has reached a different level altogether. Batters are not worried about the fielders guarding the fences since they are convinced with their own ability to clear the ropes. Consequently, the world is witnessing more and more sixes and that is getting reflected even in Test match cricket. However, in a remarkable feat a batter has now managed to hit six sixes in an over.

The news is coming in from the Krefeld 2021 T10 League - part of the European Cricket Series - where Bayer Uerdingen Boosters' Aritharan Vaseekaran has smashed six sixes in an over. In the fifth over of the Uerdingen Boosters innings in the ongoing match between the Bayer Uerdingen Boosters and Koln Challengers, Vaseekaran took a particular liking to the leg side to smash all the balls for sixes. The over was being bowled by Ayush Sharma.

61 off 25 for Vaseekaran

Overall, Vaseekaran smashed 61 off 25 deliveries and helped his team post a commendable 115/8 in the 10 overs. His innings included a massive 7 sixes and 3 boundaries as he scored those runs at an impressive strike rate of 244. Apart from Vaseekaran, Sri Kanth Vaka and Thinesh Rajakulasingam chipped in with 16 and 13 runs respectively.
